Review: Aleksi Suomesta
– –
“The play has a strong message of peace. It is an individual tragedy, the story of a boy who has been left out. It’s about Aleksi Lysander, but it could certainly also be about many other men who have been looking for their place and ended up on the path of battle. (…)
In this context, it seems unnecessary to assess the details of the proposal. I will only say that the effect of the play is extremely strong, earth-shattering. The actors are fully immersed in their roles, the stage works excellently and Tuomas Rinta-Panttila’s direction is absolutely perfect.”
