Review: Aleksi Suomesta

“For a thrilling theatre experience, two actors and excellent dramatisation and direction of the play are enough. That is what you can experience now when watching the Helsinki City Theatre’s play Aleksi Suomesta. Ari-Pekka Lahti has dramatised the play into a coherent performance. When you know that this is not a fictional story, it touches you violently. Tuomas Rinta-Panttila’s direction is intense, and the performance, which lasts a couple of hours with an intermission, is a precise and insightful interpretation.
