Review: Antigone

“Let it be said at the outset that Antigone, produced in collaboration between the Helsinki City Theatre and the Theatre Academy, is an absolutely extremely successful performance. Without underestimating the fresher and more avant-garde branches and offshoots of the performing arts, it is great to be able to immerse myself in the classic elements of theatre art from time to time: the text that has remained robust over time, the physically committed acting, and the communal power manifested as a choir.”
