Review: Asmodeus ja 1313 sielua

“Hurme loads one punch after another into the densely written comedy. (…) Many of the scenes make you laugh, but on the other hand, the play is also able to raise genuine questions about what the melting of the glaciers means for life. (…) Vappu Nalbantoglu plays an almost possessed intense role as the demon Asmodeus in the story. Paavo Kääriäinen will be remembered both as the Bishop of Turku sinking into the water and as a depressed tavern keeper in Lahti. Live musicians Ville Herrala and Piia Komsi create a wistfully beautiful soundscape for wild fantasy with Monteverdi’s tunes.”
