Herala’s deliciously comic portrayal of Steller is a delight, while Alexander Wendelin transforms impressively into a host of supporting roles. The arc of researchers above the stage offers a tragically comic reflection of small, ignorant humanity, intoxicated by its imagined superiority.
Special mention must also go to Jaana Nykänen’s make-up design and Laura Haapakangas’s costume design, both spanning centuries.”
