Review: Fretti Mercury etsii onnea

“‘A show for the whole family’ is a label that is easily applied, but Fretti Mercury etsii onnea earns it better than most. For children, there is action, colour, animal characters and straightforward humour. For adults, there is a whole other layer packed with pop culture, wordplay and references that happily go straight over younger audience members’ heads.

That is why audience members of different ages laugh at different things. At its best, however, the whole auditorium laughs together. And beneath all the exuberance lies a simple, heart-warming message about friendship and happiness. Sometimes a person—or a ferret—travels far in search of happiness, even though it may be waiting in the place they would least expect to find it.

Fretti Mercury etsii onnea is a cheerful, inventive and fast-paced musical that will keep you smiling all the way home. This riot of colour is just what the darkening, rainy autumn needs!”
