“Jenny Hill, dramatised by Henna Piirto and directed and adapted for the stage by Liisa Mustonen, transforms from a novel into a flexible tragicomedy (…) Sari Haapamäki is Jenni Mäki/Jenny Hill in the lead role and the dynamo of the entire performance. He manages to bring Jenni, who has lost herself in her marriage and children, to the stage in a believable way, and the performance seemed to resonate with the audience as well. Haapamäki is on stage for the entire two-hour performance and supports the whole from start to finish with his work.”
