Review: & Julia

“Samuel Harjanne and Helsinki City Theatre have done it again. Once again, the Main Stage at Helsinki City Theatre is home to world-class musical theatre that rivals even a West End production. (…)

In the lead role of Juliet, Renèe Böök radiates incredible stage presence. It is hard to believe that this is Böök’s first professional theatre production. The rest of the cast also deliver outstanding performances. (…)

All in all, & Julia is a fast-paced, colourful and uplifting musical experience in which tragedy gives way to the possibility of a new beginning. The instantly familiar songs will have your feet tapping and stay with you long after the curtain falls. A night at the theatre that will leave you smiling for a long time to come.”
