Review: Kotijoukot

“Making people laugh is a difficult art, but Kotijoukot pulls it off brilliantly. The script delivers plenty of delicious moments, and the tightly paced direction makes the most of every one. The humour rings true, not least because right from the start, the play serves up situations from relationships and the people in them that are undeniably both hilarious and recognisable. The comedy races briskly from one situation to the next. (…) My companion, a man in a long-term relationship, nearly choked at several points because he was laughing so hard – tears were streaming down his face.”
