“It’s great to see major productions like The Little Mermaid right here in my hometown, and they don’t lose to big Broadway productions on any level. The sets, costumes and dance numbers build the performance as much as the actors themselves. The wonderfully constructed underwater world, the mermaid who actually swims in the water, i.e. floats in the air, and the hide-and-seek between the kitchen staff and the crab, have been built with skill and ambition.”
