The Love Story of the Century – Märta Tikkanen’s classic texts are effective in Minttu Mustakallio’s interpretation

“We admired Minttu’s versatility as an interpreter: light, strict and profound, there are layers. The performance was different from what we expected in a good way. There was a kind of hilarity related to Lillan’s tradition, interactivity with the audience, even President Tarja Halonen , who was in the stands, was addressed. Then we went to the deep end, where the text started to get under my skin. I got the feeling that I would never have a relationship like this, not for anyone.”
