Can a threesome work?
Yes! At least on Thursday 12 September, Threesome!
Pauli (Jarkko Niemi) asks his best friend Martin (Olli Rahkonen) for help when he has dreams about his wife Sofia (Elina Hietala), who has been run over by a truck. The most disturbing thing about the situation is that waking up to reality next to a living wife is what feels like a nightmare. Pauli can’t tell Sofia that he wants to divorce. Instead, she hopes that Martin will move in with them for a week so that Sofia can have had enough of the situation during that time and decide to leave herself.
Paul’s rounds grow when he realizes that he can’t get his understanding wife Sofia to get annoyed, let alone the quintessential man Martin, to become annoying. He tells Martin truths and even teaches him a lesson in bad behavior. One viewer mutters that the man is well on his way to ruining a great friendship. How tragicomic! Sometimes things go to the side of sorrow when Paul’s activities get too excessive. As a person who loves books, the fate of a bookshelf really touches my heart. But then we go again, and fast!
I haven’t laughed so much in a long time! An absolutely great sitcom! Goes to the top of the comedies I’ve seen! The main reason for this is the successful acting. The actors lived and breathed their characters. I was completely immersed in their world. Once I woke up to how the corners of the actors’ mouths twitched a little, as can often happen in comedy, but the situation was quickly saved. Or was there any at all? The comedy held its grip well due to the precise rhythm changes. Moving from one scene to the next went like a dance – literally and figuratively. The actors’ faces exuded how much they enjoyed doing their job.
Paul’s goal is to get Sofia to divorce herself at the end of the week and maintain her reputation as an honest man. Can those two things go together?
The atmosphere is condensed into a staring competition. Who dares to pack their things and leave?
P.S. Where can I buy theater glass?!
