Far out in the woods lives the Bladis boy. They have a forest parcel that is wide and wide and hunting rights all year round. They borrow firewood where there is too much, shoot wildly and do not shy away from either blackmail or fire. Over time, the criminal record becomes long and the stories many.
But then Hannes Blad steals a hare from the boy Jakob. Jakob goes to settle with Bladis the boy and becomes involved in their business, even though his mother does what she can to stop it. Soon Jakob is one of Bladis’ boys. But does he want to be and does he have any alternatives? Also Why does Jacob’s father shout?
A narrative performance by and with Erik Kiviniemi about right and wrong, about freedom and responsibility, about growing up and becoming a man with soft hands.
Played in an Ostrobothnian dialect!
