A bold and hilarious comedy about two couples determined to resolve their young sons’ fight in a civilised manner.

Eleven-year-old Olli has hit his classmate Urho in the playground. The boys’ parents meet to discuss the incident like adults: calmly and sensibly, over coffee and cake. But before the meeting is over, adult behaviour has taken on a whole new meaning, and coffee and cake have given way to whisky and cigarettes. In the living room, nothing is left unsaid. Carnage is a bold, hilarious and intense comedy about two couples determined to resolve their young sons’ fight in a civilised manner. But the outcome is anything but civilised, and no one escapes unscathed. As the evening unfolds, the polite meeting becomes increasingly complicated, and civilised conversation escalates into a bitter war of words. By the time the hosts bring out the whisky, all hell breaks loose in a riotous verbal free-for-all – between the couples and between the partners themselves.
