Finland’s leading stand-up comedy stage! For more than two decades, the country’s top comedians have taken to the stage.

Stand-up is about cutting loose, playful provocation, putting yourself on the line and thinking on your feet in an ever-changing performance setting.

The performances at 19 take place in the auditorium, while the performances at 21 are held in the foyer. All seats are unreserved in both the auditorium and the foyer.

This autumn, Ali Jahangiri is touring Finland with his Naurattamisen ilosta stand-up tour! Expect evenings packed with wildly funny stories, flights of fancy, surprises and bellyaches – from laughing! The show is the perfect blend of old and new, gentle and fiery. Ali knows how to laugh at himself as well as others, and he never hesitates to get the audience involved. His bawdy, fearless comedy goes full throttle without slowing down for the bends. Get ready for an evening where no subject is entirely safe. 

Tommi Ylimäinen: Älä anna periksi

Älä anna periksi is stand-up comedian Tommi Ylimäinen’s first solo show, taking a broad and brutally warm-hearted look at life in our times. Shaped and compressed by his roots in Kemi, Tommi serves up good-natured comedy with a darkly humorous edge. The Sea Lapland mindset at its funniest! Don’t give up either – come and experience this show live!

Tommi has been performing on stand-up stages across Finland since 2013 and has appeared on television programmes including Nelonen’s Stand Up and Maikkari’s Komediaklubi. He also runs the Remakka club in Oulu and regularly appears on its tours, at festivals and at gigs.

Comedian Juhani Nevalainen will warm up the audience.
