Sinikka Nopola’s (1953–2021) life’s work will be celebrated at the memorial ceremony on the Arena stage in April. The evening will feature Nopola’s memorable texts, songs and poems.

“Sinikka could write a novel, a play, a film script, a children’s book, poems and song lyrics at the same time. We also wanted to bring this idea to a ‘rather clever’ evening, where Sinikka’s perceptive humour and literary art lovers can gather together to enjoy her life’s work,” says the author’s sister and work partner Tiina Nopola .

Performers: Heidi Herala, Vuokko Hovatta, Marzi Nyman, Päivi Kantola, Paavo Kerosuo, Lotta Kuusisto, Seppo Maijala, Tiina Nopola, Iiro Rantala and Reetta Ristimäki
