And none of the saved are a chilling mystery of a closed space. An effective, well-constructed and traditional suspense play is Agatha Christie at its best.

Ten little soldier boys went to the table together, but one choked on food, there are nine left.

Nine little soldier boys spent the evening so merrily, but when the morning comes, only eight open their eyes.

Eight little soldier boys set out to seek their fortune, one when he stayed on that road, the group was reduced to seven…

Agatha Christie’s classic detective novel And None of the Saved takes you to Soldier Island on the coast of Devon, where ten people have been invited. When the party arrives, it turns out that the host couple has not yet arrived. On the edge of the fireplace there is an old rhyme about ten soldier boys and ten soldier statues.

In the rhyme, each soldier boy dies, one at a time. Soon, a record starts in which every guest and the servants of the house are accused of murder.

Then the members of the party begin to die.

With each death, one of the ten porcelain soldier boy statues disappears.

Until there is not one left.

The creepily fascinating detective story offers an intense two-hour performance on the Arena stage, which has proven its place as the number one stage for suspense plays. In the intimate atmosphere of the Arena stage, the super-popular Agatha Christie’s Mousetrap was enjoyed in the autumn of 2023.
