Things happen, then you are there: love arises, children come into the world, jobs are offered, divorces become inevitable…” Actual events are about things that are important or memorable in people’s lives, about love and loss, about what they believe in or what they believe. regret what they want to proclaim to those who have power in the world. “Best decision-makers. Actual Events tells about what it feels like to lose a child, how painful it is when a man leaves for another woman, how to deal with an unknown half-sister who appears out of nowhere, and what happens when there is salt in the sugar bowl… Actual events deal with things that are important and revolutionary in a person’s life in anhonest and honest way. Rakkhelp and loss, what people believe in and what they regret. And what they want to say to the decision-makers. The highly critically acclaimed performance in Swedish presents a group of people who have only one thing in common; they have once been to Lilla Teatern and want to share their story. Together, they give an honest picture of our time and people, and of what is current and what will never change. The script is basedon texts and interviews collected from Lilla Teatern’s audience, in which they tell what event they would like to see on stage from their own lives.
