Stenar i fickan was her first success. Then came Mamma betalar (The Blind Fiddler), and now Fly Me To The Moon. Irish playwright Marie Jones’s comedies continue to fill theatres with their sharp yet warm humour.

Fly Me To The Moon is an everyday comedy about small decisions with far-reaching consequences. When one of home carers Lilja and Fia’s clients dies, it sets off a chain of events that ultimately raises moral questions. Where is the line between poverty and honesty, between self-interest and traditional values? Why must ordinary people heed the voice of morality when society’s rich and powerful no longer seem to do so? What is left to hold on to and believe in?
