Fly Me To the Moon
OBS! Inte längre i repertoaren!
Stones in Your Pocket was her first success. Then came Mamma betal (The Blind Fiddler) and now Fly Me To The Moon. Irish playwright Marie Jones’ comedies continue to fill the auditoriums with their sharp, but warm humor.
Fly Me To The Moon is an everyday comedy about small decisions with big consequences. One of the home caregivers Lilja and Fia’s clients dies. This sets off a chain of events where the issues are ultimately moral. Where is the line between poverty and honesty, between self-interest and traditional values? Why does the common man have to follow the voice of morality, when the rich and powerful in society no longer seem to do so? What is there anymore to hold on to and believe in?
