The play focuses on Francesca and Robert’s larger-than-life love and how love changes both of their lives forever. Francesca makes a choice based on selflessness, but at the same time she gives up “herself”. Francesca’s children inherit their mother’s story. How does a mother’s experience change the lives of children and affect their choices?
