Our Lovely Women is a new comedy by French director Eric Assous (2013). Three good friends are supposed to get together for the evening to play cards. Max and Paul are waiting for Simon, who is usually always the first to arrive, but now he is nowhere to be seen. When Simon finally arrives, he is in a state of agitation. He has quarreled with his wife, and as a result, he has committed a serious crime. Shocked friends ask about the events and advise Simon to go to the police. However, Simon asks his friends to lie to the police that he came in time so that he can have an alibi. Simon reminds his friends of all the things he has done for them over the years. How is friendship measured and what does it have to endure? On stage, three wise men and a lot of talk about women.
