Glitter is cheap, no expense is spared on false lashes, and it’s diva-eat-diva as Jemina sets out to conquer America.

Jemina is back and she’s bigger than ever! – The b*tch. Jeminan monta elämää, choreographed by Jyrki Karttunen and premiered at Zodiak in 2012, is getting a sequel. And we all know what they say about sequels. Expect more fabulousness, sparkle, minced meat and glamour, Jemina-style. Karttunen’s time-worn diva takes to the stage at Pannuhalli in Kaapelitehdas with her sights set on conquering America. Meryl Streep, watch your back! Jemina is joined on her grand American tour by a colourful cast of characters, all eager to sink their teeth into a slice of big, apple-flavoured fabulousness – and to take Jemina’s place as Jemina… Glitter is cheap, no expense is spared on false lashes, and it’s diva-eat-diva as they each chase their 15 minutes in the glare of the universe’s spotlights. Audiences are advised to keep their distance: the show is pure trash – somewhere between a Las Vegas show and an Agatha Christie murder mystery. It is also restricted to audiences aged 18 and over, as the auditorium doubles as a restaurant-style serving area. Food and drinks are provided by Kaapelitehdas’s own Hima & Sali.
