The story begins when Matti Virtanen loses his family.
Having excelled on the home front – at cooking and childcare – he suddenly finds the ground pulled out from under him. Matti realises that buying a house might persuade his wife to reconsider the divorce. The jogging trails of suburbia lead him into an idyllic neighbourhood of post-war veterans’ houses…

Red Nose Company is a Helsinki-based theatre company that has quickly become one of Finland’s most sought-after touring companies. Over the past three years, performances by acting duo Timo Ruuskanen and Tuukka Vasama have attracted more than 15,000 people across the country. Director Otso Kautto is the founder of the internationally acclaimed Teatteri Quo Vadis, and his productions have been staged at venues including the Finnish National Theatre and Lahti City Theatre.

Premiered at Teatteri Avoimet Ovet in Helsinki on 24.1.2014.
Toured throughout Finland in 2014-2016, with more than 70 performances.
