I’ve been touring for 35 years! This one-man performance is one of the milestones of Mikko Kivinen’s long career.

He has 35 years of touring behind him. They have been in shabby pubs, large halls and on the stages of almost all theatres. Sometimes it hasn’t gone quite as planned, sometimes as it has gone and sometimes it has gone surprisingly well. Maybe we have learned something now, such as the fact that this is not so serious. All you have to do is grab the ukulele and go: life is for living! This one-man performance is one of the milestones of Mikko Kivinen’s long career. This sums up what has been done and what has not been done in a way that leaves the serious ones in the minority. Mikko throws himself in front of his audience again with all his heart and total risk – you never know for sure what will happen. At least it is now certain that Pertti Jarla’s Fingerpori-like images will lead the viewer to the Rocky Road.
