35 years on the road! This one-man show is a milestone in Mikko Kivinen’s long career.

After 35 years on the road, he has performed in dingy bars, grand auditoriums and on the stages of almost every theatre in Finland. Sometimes things have gone completely off the rails, sometimes they have been almost right – and occasionally, they have gone surprisingly well. Perhaps he has learnt something along the way, such as not to take it all too seriously. So grab a ukulele and off we go: life is for living! This one-man show is a milestone in Mikko Kivinen’s long career. It takes stock of what he has done – and what he has left undone – in a way that leaves the humourless firmly in the minority. Once again, Mikko throws himself wholeheartedly in front of his audience and takes a total risk – you can never be quite sure what will happen. One thing is certain: Pertti Jarla’s Fingerpori-style illustrations will lead the audience down the Kivinen road.
