Klockriketeatern’s guest performance – an ecological love story
An ecological love story about life’s crucial decisions and the laughable details. The Next Breath is a play that looks at global issues with stripped-down means and through personal choices. Two actors, a text and a musical world that carries far in time and space. Do something, before your next breath is the last. Why is it so hard to breathe? – A conversation about guilt, love and ecology with Joel Backström and the actors. After the revival of The Next Breath, 15.3, the audience will have the opportunity to participate in a discussion about the performance – about guilt, love and ecology. No special registration is required for the discussion held in the auditorium after the performance. Joel Backström is a philosopher, with a particular focus on ethics and contemporary criticism. He works as a freelance researcher, is a part-time teacher at the University of Helsinki and the Theatre Academy, is a freelance translator, columnist and radio voice.
