Young Stage Festival 2.-3.5. New, wonderful youth plays performed by young people.

Studio Pasila will be taken over by young people on the first weekend of May as part of the Helsinki Young Stage Festival. Over the course of two days, there will be a unique opportunity to see six new performances by young people. The Young Stage is a national theatre project that brings together young theatre enthusiasts to work with professionals and playwrights. The authors of the project are Anna Krogerus, Ari-Pekka Lahti, Tuomas Timonen and Tove Appelgren. They have written plays for 13-19-year-olds, of which groups of young people have prepared a performance with the support of professional theatre. The Young Stage project, which was implemented in 2013-2015, involves six Finnish professional theatres, one of which is the Helsinki City Theatre.
