A newly written comedy about love

On Love is based on the French writer Stendhal’s (Henri Beyle) debut work. The play describes the main character Stendhal’s sufferings in a breathtakingly unrequited love. True to his philosophy, the protagonist also sees the comic in his tragic situation and develops a theory of the essence of love on the basis of his own experiences. “By cross-reading, among other things.
