In March 2019, Pate Mustajärvi’s Phantom of the Theatre tour will landon theatre stages with a total of 18 concerts. This is a uniqueopportunity to hear and experience Mustajärvi interpreting his legendarysongs rearranged for the tour with guitar accompaniment in an intimatetheater setting. The accompaniment is provided by guitarist Ari “Kankku” Kankaanpää.

The two-hour concert experience includes a comprehensive cross-section of the Mustajärvi
musical treasures of his nearly 40-year solo career and the
fresh material to be published below. The concert has an intermission

“In recent years, I haven’t written many lyrics, because I’m so busy all the time. Now I consciously took time to write,and it felt surprisingly good,” Mustajärvi says.

From previous productions, the set features at least the guaranteed people’s favorites
“Ukkometso”, “Jukeboksin luona” and “Mä elän viläkin” and others from the archives
Dug out gems.

“Now we are moving in completely different spheres than on previous tours, because the theatreshave their own atmosphere, intimate and fateful. And storiesabout the ghosts of the theatre are told in general. We’ll see if they feel the needto participate in the performances,” Mustajärvi ponders.
