Note: No longer in repertoire!

In this year’s Christmas musical by Shed Musical Theatre, Inspector Tiikerililja is investigating the strange disappearance of the Kultanen siblings. Peter Pan, who refuses to grow up, flies in through the nursery window at night and takes the children with him to the wondrous Neverland, where the lost children and pirates battle for control of the magical realm. But a jealous fairy, the devious and dangerous pirate Captain Koukku, and even a crocodile that beeps instead of ticking soon complicate matters!

Adapted from Chickenshed Theatre’s (UK) version, this new dramatisation brings the classic tale into the present day. Yet the familiar themes of Peter Pan remain at its heart: is growing up really as necessary as people claim? A childlike spirit and a child’s imagination possess a very special power! And everyone needs someone to look after them.

Peter Pan is a thrilling adventure for the whole family, featuring a dog hired as a nanny and a shadow that can accidentally become detached from its owner. And hopefully, by the end of the show, everyone will have learnt never to eat green-sugar cakes left lying on the beach.
