Note: No longer in repertoire!

Spring is a time of joy, light and renewal. Spring is also a season of celebration – for graduates, those heading off on holiday and… the Eurovision Song Contest. Fittingly, the theme of our spring concert is spring and the summer it ushers in.

We all have songs tucked away in our memories – songs from different eras, situations and places. A song might remind you of the town where you studied, a concert or festival, a celebration or a special person. For example, do you remember who sang Muistan kesän? Or the Eurovision entry Katson sineen taivaan? Or where you first heard Sata kesää tuhat yötä?

Look forward to a medley of songs requested by our actors, musicians and audience!

You are always welcome to sing along, and the lyrics to some of the songs will be projected onto a screen so that everyone can join in if they wish!

Seniorisoppa® is an event you can attend alone, with a friend or in a larger group. You will always find company – and you are always welcome to sing along! The Seniorisoppa® concept was created by actor Merja Larivaara. She will be there throughout the event, making music, chatting with guests and seeing concertgoers off on their journey home.
