The dance theatre performance for the whole family is a joyful, modern folk tale about love and longing.
Written by Eppu Nuotio and directed by Kurt Nuotio, the performance for the whole family is a joyful, modern folk tale about love and longing. It transports viewers to the magical enchantment of Nordic folklore. The dancers of Tsuumi boldly throw themselves in front of a child audience, both dancing and singing, the choreography is by Johanna Elovaara. Anna Anttonen has composed captivating music for the work. The stories of three daughters and the germs of folk tales are woven into a thick braid in the premiere of the children’s dance theatre. One of the daughters encounters the ice and snow of the north, its moose and bears, on her journey. Another is the pike of the warm waters of the south, mermaids and water maidens. The third creates their own myths.
