Ever since she was a child, competition has attracted Aino-Kaisa, regardless of physical and mental limits, a strong will drives her forward. Aina Bergroth’s play tells the story of Olympic medalist Aino-Kaisa Saarinen, in all its hardness and sensitivity.
The play’s key twists and turns are based on the stages of Aino-Kaisa Saarinen’s life, but Tahto also moves in the world of dreams and imagination of Aino-Kaisa, who is dedicated to her passion, and her dearest and most dangerous rival. Joint coach Jamppa increases tensions in the relationship between women competing at the top of the world. Tennis superstar Andre Agassi reflects on the madness of sports with Aino-Kaisa, while the skier’s great love, her husband Tom, ensures a stable everyday life.
