A comedy about the breakingly heavy urban engineering construction work and human life, which is only momentarily lighter than construction.

The men and women of the city’s construction services are building urban engineering, water pipes and sewers in the future residential area of Lintupuisto. For some reason, everything in the Bird Park is buggy. The sewer drains do not fit into place, the pipes sag and the lines are wrong. A stabilized country is not stable. The former swamp area seems to have a will of its own – to prevent construction from progressing. And when the ground is not bearable, the builders have a problem of seriousness on their hands. Municipal engineering builder Pete (Jari Pehkonen) is about to turn fifty. She has suffered from insomnia and is starting to see in the trench as she pushes things and people that were supposed to be far in the past. The problem of seriousness is a sign of bone-breaking heavy urban engineering construction work and human life, which is only momentarily lighter than construction. Mika Ripatti’s previous comedy There’s no Harri was a success at Studio Pasila. He is also known for several TV and film scripts, including the film Nousukausi (The Upswing) and the TV series Sydänjää (Heart Ice) and The Man Who Looks Like a Killer.
