Jyrki Kasper took up dance after being tricked into it by his mother, attending a “jumping school” taught by Isto Turpeinen at Vantaa Dance Institute. He graduated from the Theatre Academy with a Bachelor’s degree in Dance in 2012. Kasper has performed in works by Sonya Lindfors, Alpo Aaltokoski, Jarkko Mandelin and Liisa Risu, as well as with Kenneth Kvarnström Company in Stockholm and the dance company Kinetic Orchestra. He has worked at Helsinki City Theatre since 2015, appearing in dance productions and musicals. His most recent work is Lomonosovin moottori (2022).
