Helsinki City Theatre cancels performances until 12 April

To prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the Helsinki City Theatre cancels all its performances until 12 April.

The Regional State Administrative Agency has ordered the cancellation of public events of more than 500 people in order to prevent the spread of the infection caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). In accordance with the instructions of the Regional State Administrative Agency and the recommendation of the authorities, the Helsinki City Theatre will cancel performances from all its stages until 12 April 2020.

The theatre will contact customers who have tickets for cancelled performances. Tickets will be refunded to customers.

For performances in late spring, we will follow the instructions of the authorities and inform the audience of any changes.

If a spectator who has purchased tickets for the late spring performances wants to postpone their visit to the theatre, the Helsinki City Theatre offers the opportunity to exchange tickets for the autumn performances or a gift card.

The Helsinki City Theatre’s website will be updated with information on the effects of the coronavirus on the building’s operations.
