Ismo Leikola’s performance in English at the Ismo in English Arena in November
The funniest person in the world, Ismo Leikola, will be seen at the Helsinki City Theatre in November for three Ismo in English performances. The performances on the Arena stage are Ismo’s only English-language performances in Finland this autumn. Ismo will take the stage at the Arena stage on November 13 and 14.
Ismo in English is a unique performance of Ismo Leikola’s English-language stand-up comedy. During the performance, you will hear content that Ismo usually tells on stages in the United States and elsewhere in the world. Ismo makes brilliant observations of the world and makes people see familiar things again through his unique perspective.
“There is a surprisingly high demand for English-language gigs in Finland, and now we decided to do one properly. If you are interested in what Ismo is talking about in the world, this is an opportunity to get a taste of it,” Ismo Leikola says.
Ismo Leikola started his stand-up career in 2002 in Finland and is now one of Finland’s best-known comedians. He made his U.S. debut in 2014 at the Hollywood comedy club Laugh Factory, where he won the title of The Funniest Person in the World. In 2015, Ismo moved to Los Angeles and now performs at his sold-out gigs around the world.
The performances on the Arena stage are in English and are not recommended for children under the age of 16.
