Lillan will be visited this spring by Lina Teir’s storytelling performance Till slutså jag är våren, Yle Vega’s live broadcast of Eftersnack, the Finland-Swedish Theatre’s performance Locker Room Talk and improvisation theatre Stjärnfall’s show Improvision 2018.

Lina became friends with the strangers and her life was quickly filled with laughter, google translate and hummus.  Then one day the negative asylum news came and the guitar teacher Lina became a human rights activist who made a protest song for Juha Sipilä and started a protest song for Juha Sipilä and started a movement “We see you” to draw attention to injustices in asylum policy. The experiences also gave rise to many new songs, which are included in the performance on April 7.

Yle Vega will broadcast Eftersnack live in front of an audience from Lilla Teatern on April 13. Magnus Londén and Jeanette Björkqvist go through the past week together with quick-thinking and sharp sidekicks.

The Finland-Swedish Theatre’s performance Locker Room Talk mixes classical theatre, magic, stand-up and moves in an expressionist cabaret with music, singing and black humour. The show has been performed with great success in Norway and on April 21, it is Helsinki’s turn. FiST’s performance is based on Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People. Directed by Philipp Stengele. On stage Kim Gustafsson, Jonas Kippersund and Marc Svahnström.

Ahead of Eurovision in Lisbon, improvisational theatre Stjärnfall will load up on April 28 with a crazy schlager night with play, parody and spontaneous sketches with the theme of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.  In their show Improvision 2018 , they improvise hit songs of all kinds. Who will win this year’s schlager gala? Will there be a rock opera from Moldova? A disco ballad from Iceland? Or a punky mazurka from Malta? Stjärnfall delivers songs that have never been heard before. The audience can participate by coming up with hit titles and voting for the evening’s winner. The performance is multilingual.

During the spring, Lilla Teatern’s stage will feature Lina Teir’s singer-songerwriter performance Till så är jag våren, Yle Vega’s live broadcast of the Eftersnack program, Den Finlandssvenska Teatern’s cabaret performance Locker Room Talk and improvisation theatre Stjärnfall’s Eurovision show Improvision 2018.

Till så är jag våren is a singer-songwriter performance by Lina Teir , who will perform on 7 April, in which she talks about her own experiences when the refugee wave arrived in Finland in 2015. Lina became friends with asylum seekers and her life was soon filled with laughter, google translate and hummus. Then one day the asylum decisions were rejected and the guitar teacher Lina became a human rights activist, who wrote a protest song for Juha Sipilä and launched the campaign “We see you”. Based on the events, many of the songs heard in the performance were born.

Yle Vega’s Eftersnack will be broadcast live in front of an audience from Lilla Teatern on 13 April. Magnus Londén and Jeanette Björkqvist analysed the past week together with guest stars.

Finlandssvenska Teatern’s Locker Room Talk , which combines classical theatre, magic, stand-up and drag, will visit Lilla Teatern on 21 April. The performance, which draws on Ibsen’s The Enemy of the People, has gained great popularity in Norway, and now it is Helsinki’s turn. The award-winning Philipp Stengele will direct Kim Gustafsson, Jonas Kippersund and Marc Svahnström on stage.

On 28 April, before the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, improvisational theatre Stjärnfall will offer a playful Improvision 2018 schlager evening consisting of spontaneous sketches with the theme Eurovision Song Contest 2018. In the performance, unheard of hits are invented on the fly. Who will win? Is it a Moldovan rock opera? Icelandic disco ballad? Or a Maltese mazurka? The audience can participate by coming up with the names of the hits and voting for the winner of the evening. The performance is multilingual.
