Lillan <3 Luckan – parkera barnen och gå på teater!
Lilla Teatern and Luckan are initiating a collaboration on childcare during selected theatre performances. The programme is suitable for children aged 4–10 and is free of charge.
The first theatre evening with childcare will be arranged on Saturday 26 September. Men Can’t Be Raped plays at Lilla Teatern at. 18.00–19.40 and the opening hours at LillaLuckan are 17.30–20.00. During the evening, the children get to experience the concept of Book Bio. Bokbio includes a film based on a picture book and the film has educational material to work with. During the evening, children are also offered a light evening meal. LillaLuckan, which is Luckan’s children’s culture room, is located in the immediate vicinity of Lilla Teatern at Yrjönkatu 27.
“While the parents see a performance at Lilla Teatern, the children get to come to LillaLuckan. In a safe and fun environment, a creative programme of adults is organised,” says Elin Sundell, Producer of Luckan’s children’s culture.
“We hope that this arrangement gives parents who otherwise may find it difficult to get away an opportunity to go to the theatre and spend time with an adult for a while,” says project manager Johanna Welander at Lilla Teatern.
You can register your child for LillaLuckan’s evening programme and reserve a theatre ticket by contacting barnkultur@luckan.fi. The last day to register is 23.9 and there are ten seats available for booking.

Lillan <3 Luckan – children parked during a theatre performance
Lilla Teatern and Luckan are starting a collaboration where children can be left in care for the duration of the theatre performance. The service is free of charge and suitable for children aged 4–10.
The first children’s park performance will be held on Saturday, 26 September in connection with the Män kan inte våldtas (A man cannot be raped) performance. The performance lasts at noon. 18.00–19.40 and LillaLuckan is open at. 17.30–20.00. During the evening, children get to know the Bokbio concept. In Bokbio (movie book) you will see a film based on the book, and the film will be accompanied by a learning material that the children can work with. During the evening, the children will also be offered an evening snack. LillaLuckan is located in the immediate vicinity of Lilla Teatern at Yrjönkatu 27.
“While the parents enjoy the theatre performance at Lillan, the children are entertained by Bokbio, in a safe and comfortable environment, under the supervision of two adults,” says Elin Sundell, who is responsible for children’s culture at Luckan ry.
“We hope that the arrangement will give parents the opportunity to take a little break and have a cultural experience in the company of an adult,” says Johanna Welander, Project Manager at Lilla Teatern.

The language of both the performance and the Bokbio evening is Swedish. All performances at Lilla Teatern are subtitled in Finnish using the Thea application.
