Catering before and during the intermission will be provided by Sodexo. The sales points open one hour before the performance. Please order intermission catering in advance!

FOYER serves tasty food and a wide range of drinks in the arms of the Helsinki City Theatre’s Arena stage – before, during and after the performance. The selection includes both proper portions and casual snacks to accompany wine, with coffee or just for socializing. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and suitably soulful.

Mon-Thu 16.30–22 (11–22 on daytime screening days)
Fri-Sat 16.30–23 (11 a.m.–11 p.m. on daytime screenings)

Bistro O mat Hakaniemi opened in September 2023 on the 9th floor of the Lyyra block in Hakaniemi. High above the bustling Hakaniemi is a place that combines stunning scenery and delicious taste experiences.
Bistro O mat is located just a 5-minute walk from the theatre. Finish the theatre evening with a restaurant experience, we open for dinner already at 4 pm, so there is time before the show. PS. A special theatre menu is available by flashing the show ticket.
Located in the historic milieu of Paasitorni, Graniittiklubi offers the experience of a modern culture club and lounge restaurant. Graniittiklubi’s evenings are a meeting place for culture, good food and company.

There is only one Juttutupa.
The life-like Juttutupa is one of the oldest restaurants in Helsinki. Its roots go all the way back to 1884. Juttutupa is open every day and everyone is welcome. Meripaviljonki is a completely unique restaurant in Hakaniemi, Helsinki. The windows of the panoramic restaurant, floating on the waves of Säästöpankinranta, offer a magnificent seascape, where you can enjoy the best delicacies of the season. Meripaviljonki serves as both a stylish lunch and dinner restaurant.
The Maritime Pavilion specialises in seafood delicacies: fish and shellfish. Although we are a seafood-oriented restaurant, we also have other delicious vegetarian and meat dishes on our menu.
