Review: Meidän poika
A bomb in a backpack
The topic of school bullying is so real that it makes me anxious beforehand. However, the working group knows its stuff; No one is blamed, and the viewer is not put in too tight a squeeze. But it’s still not easy.
And it’s not just about shopping malls or school bullying, but about much more: guilt, loneliness, competition, exclusion and inclusion.
It hurt and touched me. In addition to my mother (Merja Larivaara), I also noticed that I identified with the bullied teenage friends and the stressed police officer easily interpreted by Rauno Ahonen . How would you be able to interpret the clues? And how can you help if the other person rejects help?
