Helsinki Dance Company’s DREAMER is a multidisciplinary dance work exploring the interplay between the visible and invisible worlds. The performance invites the audience into a surreal waiting room where human bodies, movement, music and space merge into one.
The work’s expressive performers take the audience on a journey into the deep currents of the subconscious, where hidden fears, desires and pleasures become tangible – flesh and movement. DREAMER gives visible form to our relentless drive to pursue the extraordinary, even in the face of the impossible.
Annamari Keskinen (1985, Finland) and Ryan Mason (1980, USA) are known for their distinctive, intensely physical and often cinematic stage works, which have earned international acclaim.
