Free-spirited Anna (Niina Lahtinen) longs for more playfulness from her engineer partner Mikko (Joonas Nordman) – and a spark to revive their relationship, which has fallen into a rut. Mikko, a Finnish man through and through, thinks it makes more sense to be the steady, sensible adult of everyday life.

The story begins when Anna, hungry for love and adventure, is disappointed one last time by her partner’s reluctance and cuttingly dry sarcasm. She decides to end the relationship.

Their amorous neighbours (Emilia Sinisalo and Jarkko Pajunen) want to help their friends save their relationship and arrange for the whole group to attend a couples’ retreat run by elite military instructors. What kind of hero is the ultra-macho military trainer (Sauli Suonpää) – and what kind of mess awaits Mikko, who wants to save his relationship but cannot stand push-ups or war games?

Naturally, one participant’s mother (Sanna Saarijärvi) also sticks her nose into the proceedings, followed eventually by the police (Helena Haaranen). Expect finely tuned farce from some of Finland’s funniest actors, packed with action and sweat, explosions, rage and love.

Award-winning comedy makers Niina Lahtinen and Joonas Nordman, the actor-writers also known from the series Siskonpeti, and director Anna Dahlman have created a riotously funny new comedy about relationships.
