Paula, Eini, Erika and Sirkka – four widows in their seventies, four friends, the Kurtturuusut. The women share their lives with one another – and there is plenty to share. Rather than dwelling on their aches and pains, they live life on their own terms, enjoying it to the full and having fun together.
But something is missing. Love.
The Kurtturuusut boldly embark on a quest for love, because if there is something you want to do, now is the time. The women begin dating all kinds of men, from old acquaintances to new connections they meet online. Drama, comedy and life ensue.
