We put on performances on our social media stages as much as we can. When there is no longer a separate reality and social media reality, but an all-encompassing social media, what is presentation? Will it ever end? What is a presentation? Tiikeri announces that he is one.
The concert and social media-inspired stage performance TIIKERI at Studio Pasila and
exhibition is a commemorative event for the previous premiere of the same work, which was performed at the Cirko – Center for New Circus in January 2023. The work spreads to the unknown corners of Studio Pasila, harnesses them for unprecedented use and at the same time swells up on social media. As a memorial service, this work can only be experienced once.
Milla Jarko is a performer, performer and circus artist. In her art work, she combines circus, performance, as well as audio and visual things. The circus paves the way for Milla’s artistic activities. In her long-term work as a performing artist, she asks: what does circus do? What does the circus think?
The work to be experienced at Studio Pasila is part of Jarkko’s Tiikeri project, which he started in 2018. Tiikeri creates, trains and performs both live and on social media. The Tiikeri project, which is ongoing for the time being, is actively looking for new places and ways to try out performances when you feel like it.
The things that are important to me are well-being, sincerity, immediacy and nonsense. I trust in uncertainty, because it is permanent and always there. I’m pretty damn serious, but not serious! ~Yours truly: Milla and Tiger
The event includes a performance with Camille Auer, an exhibition and a stage performance.

TIIKERI – The (some@bility) performance piece i.e. a concerto and a biennianal for The Stage for contemporary performance and other spaces. We tinker with performances for our social media stages all we can. As reality dissolves into an omnipresent social media reality, it becomes hard to separate the truth from the game. What is performing then? Does it ever end? What is a performance? Tiikeri declares to be one.
TIIKERI can be experienced in studio Pasila and is a performance piece and exhibition pimped with elements familiar from concerts and the social media. It is a memorial service for a similar performance piece, which was originally performed in Cirko – Center for New Circus during January 2023. The piece ventures into unknown corners of studio Pasila, makes them a vessel for something unforeseen, whilst it spills over into social media platforms. As a memorial service, this piece can only be experienced once.
Milla Jarko is a performer, maker of performances and a circus artist. In their work, they fuse together circus and performance arts as well as audio stuff and visuals. Circus shows the direction for Milla’s art endeavors. In their longitudinal work with performing arts they beg the question: what does circus do? what does circus think?
This piece set in studio Pasila forms a part of Milla Jarko’s project Tiikeri (tiger), which was started in 2018. Tiikeri rehearses, performs and creates in the flesh as well as on social media. Tiikeri’s project continues to actively seek new places and ways of experimenting with performance, whenever and wherever one feels like it.
Things that are important to me include well-being, sincerity and being a goof. I trust uncertainty, because it’s permanent and will always be there. I’m in this for damn real, but not seriously! ~Yours truly: Milla and Tiikeri
The event consists of an introduction with Camille Auer, an exhibition and a performance piece.
