Arrival and accessibility within the venue
- Two accessible parking spaces are located next to the electric vehicle charging point. Parking is free of charge in both accessible and standard parking spaces with a valid parking card for people with reduced mobility. The card must be displayed clearly on the dashboard. The spaces are clearly marked.

For visitors with visual impairments
Tactile warning tiles at the top of the stairs indicate the proximity of the stairs, while a continuous metal guidance strip in the floor leads from the entrance to the cloakroom and auditorium. The edges of the steps also feature contrasting strips to make them easier to identify.
Hearing loops
The hearing loop covers the stalls and balcony seating areas. It has been tested in accordance with the IEC60118-4:2014 standard, and coverage maps are available on the Kuulokuvat.fi website:

The auditorium has four wheelchair spaces in total. Two are located at the ends of the back row (12), one on the left and one on the right. There are also restricted-view wheelchair spaces at the sides of the auditorium, one on each side.

Our front-of-house staff are notified in advance by the box office of any wheelchair users attending the performance and will assist them in accessing the auditorium.

An accessible toilet is located on the ground floor.

There are two wheelchair spaces in the auditorium. They are located at the left-hand end of row 8 in the stalls, immediately inside the auditorium entrance.
The accessible entrance, with lift access to the theatre’s ground floor and auditorium, is located at Eerikinkatu 2.
To take the lift from street level down to the auditorium, call 050 463 7751 / 050 4216 918. A member of our front-of-house staff will meet you outside and assist you with the lift. The numbers are available from one hour before the performance.
Please note that the lift only provides access to the theatre’s ground floor, where the stalls are located. Unfortunately, the foyer on the mezzanine level is not accessible.
Interval refreshments can be served on the ground floor.

Tickets can only be booked through the theatre’s own box office, tel. 09 39 4022. Companion tickets are free of charge.
Sign language interpretation
Sign language interpretation can be arranged by prior agreement with the theatre. If necessary, the theatre will help the interpreter prepare for the assignment.
Audio description
Visually impaired audience members (approximately 20 people) can listen to the audio description through headphones. Näkövammaisten kulttuuripalvelu rents out audio description equipment. The equipment provider handles the practical arrangements. If necessary, the theatre will help the audio describer prepare for the assignment.
