Greetings from choreographer Anton Lachky
This piece was made for this special dance group, which I had the honor of working with for the first time 15 years ago. It was then that I arrived in your beautiful country for the first time and lost my heart to it.
I can honestly say that this second time is special to me in many ways. It is a great honour to be invited again, as part of Helsinki Dance Company’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
So this is a special evening in many ways, a special celebration to which I invite each and every one of you.
Special Night is a surreal journey into the unfettered mind, deep into the power of imagination and sleep – the dizzying freedom we can all experience when we let go.
Then everything is possible, anytime and anywhere.
