The Helsinki City Theatre's Studio Pasila will host interesting premieres in August, when the summer residency productions will have their premieres. Trial & Theatre's Nano Steps, which utilises applied physics methods, and the dialogical performance Dilemma, directed by Masi Tiita, will take the stage.

A total of 18 new premieres were produced at the Helsinki City Theatre in the 2022–2023 performance year. A total of more than 251,000 spectators visited the theatre during the autumn and spring.

The youth groups for the fourth round of the Young Stage concept have been selected: 27 youth groups from 16 different localities are participating. Helsinki City Theatre and the Finnish National Theatre are organising a joint Helsinki Metropolitan Area Young Stage Festival in April 2024.

A new stage adaptation of the musical Frozen is coming to Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
