The roles of the musical The Little Mermaid, which will swim back to the main stage of the Helsinki City Theatre in August 2023, will feature both familiar faces and new stars.

Since May 2021, the Helsinki City Theatre has been implementing the Art in the Homes of the Elderly project, as part of which the theatre performance Elonsiivous – a story of a tenacious friendship is now being completed.

In 2022, the Helsinki City Theatre organised 458 audience outreach events or public events aimed at different target groups, with a total of 21,328 people participating.

In 2022, the Helsinki City Theatre had a total of 176,030 spectators. During the autumn season, the audience returned to performing arts and the auditoriums began to fill up as before the pandemic.
