Light Draws the Lines of Your Face remote exhibition

Helsinki City Theatre’s Light Draws the Furrows of Your Face series was created from encounters between artists and the elderly as part of the Art for the Homes of the Elderly project. The exhibition highlights nine stories of elderly people living at home in Helsinki. The opening of the exhibition was celebrated at the Redi Shopping Centre in spring 2022, after which it has toured around Helsinki.

In the autumn of 2022, a video version of the photo exhibition was made, in which the stories of the filmed are heard as read by the actors.

The Art in the Homes of the Elderly project implements participatory art activities with the elderly in Helsinki. The project has met art in different ways, remotely and face-to-face.
