Helsinki City Theatre is once again one of six professional theatres in the national Young Stage project organised by the Association of Finnish Workers’ Stages.

Since 2013, the Helsinki City Theatre has been involved in the national Young Stage activities organised by the Association of Finnish Workers’ Stages. The national Young Stage brings together young theatre enthusiasts to work together with professional theatre makers and playwrights.

This season’s youth groups have been chosen: there are 28 youth groups from 15 different locations. Helsinki City Theatre is one of the Young Stage’s partner theatres and mentors seven theatre groups in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area.
The selected groups are:

Helsinki City Theatre’s local festival will be held on 13.-15.5.2027 on the stage of Studio Pasila.

The theme of the Young Stage activities in 2024–27 is Young People and the Forest.
The texts of the plays are available on the Young Stage website.
